Fruit Ninja game has been a big hit on Apps Store. Due to its popularity, this game contains many versions such as on Android, iPhone, iPad, iPod and now it is finally available on Facebook. Fruit Ninja Frenzy is the arcade mode of the original version. The gameplay is the same where you are required to slice various delicious fruits both big and small such as orange, melon, pineapple, coconut, banana that are flying in the air but this version contains several game twists. This version is good for those who do not have iPhone or Android smartphones, as you  can play it through online while chatting with their friends on Facebook. I smell an upcoming addiction!

Upon playing Fruit Ninja Frenzy, you are limited to only play in arcade mode. You will be given one minute to slice and cut the flying fruits and be able to get high scores. However if you cut a bomb, it will reduce your time in 10 seconds.  If you happen to slice multiple pieces of fruits, bonus points are added to your scores. There are also power bananas (freeze, 2x points and frenzy) which help to increase your scores even more. Moreover, you can also change the background for each round or select from different kinds of blades.

There is an additional twist to Fruit Ninja Frenzy which is called smoothies. It is an option where players can change how the game plays out. Before the game begins, you can choose a single smoothie from the list of 12 options. The following are the 12 smoothies: Spirit Bombs, bombs that have no effect; extra time, rounds last 67 seconds instead of 60 seconds; Sweet start, where each round starts with a random power banana; Blitz Boost, increases the combo blitz cap by 5 points; Mega Freeze, double the amount of fruit that appear after Freeze banana; Frenzy Rush, fruit frenzies from power bananas last 2 additional seconds.

In addition to smoothies, Points bonanza lets you get 25 bonus points each time you get a 2x score power banana; Lucky blast, the first bomb you slice turns into a random power banana; Bonus Bouny, it double the bonuses you get at the end of the round; and Ninja Criticals, these are more common and easier to get. Spirit bombs, extra time and sweet start are unlocked at the start but the other smoothies can be unlocked with Starfruit which is earned by getting achievements. You can get three smoothies at once however, it will cost you a couple of bucks. If you do not want this process, you need to earn Starfruit by accomplishing some of the Fruit Ninja Frenzy’s achievement and cashing in the ‘Juice’ you earn in every round. Fruit Ninja Frenzy is a new and improved version of Fruit Ninja, you can say.
